Logo Design Proposal 5 Page InDesign Template for Download

One of my earliest logo design templates for download was the Preliminary Proposal I used to send potential clients: a brief breakdown of budget and deposits, along with a few essential terms and conditions.

Over the many years since this was first posted, the Proposal has seen numerous updates based on various client experiences, some good and some bad.

I never used to bother with a proper Contract, and simply relied on this 5 page Proposal. In recent years I've moved to using Bonsai to send clients both detailed digital Contracts, and Invoices.

However, I still use this first page from my original Proposal (above); a simple means to get the ball rolling with a client, once they have filled in my Creative Brief.

This keeps the first contact nice and simple, lays out the budget and deposit breakdown, list of Deliverables, along with a brief Project Summary of the proposed project.

If the client is happy to proceed, then I go to Bonsai, and set-up a personalised Contract for the client, along with Invoices that can be linked to Paypal*, Stripe and a regular Bank Account.

*Note: I now never accept any client payments through PayPal, too many past horror stories!

Time then to update the old posts with the new updated Proposal, and provide a fresh new download link for you to use as you see fit.

I've kept all the pages for this download, as I know many of you don't use contracts, and might find some use with these simplifies T&C's.

File Versions Available for Download:

The main file is saved for Adobe InDesign CC 2018; I've also provided a InDesign 4 .idml file, and a regular PDF within the ZIP file. If you need another file format not provided, then please let me know via @thelogosmith and I'll see what I can muster up.

You are free to alter any of the text, and the design—obviously remove my logo and branding—as you see fit

If you found this template useful, then I'd certainly appreciate a Twitter Like and/or Retweet:
