Humanofied Brands: A Silly Brand Logo Project by The Logo Smith

Humanofied Brands is a silly little side brand logo project, much like Brand Reversions and Unevolved Brands, that I started when regular logo design work was a little quiet.

It’s simply the result of taking a popular brand logo name, and then coming up with a contrasting human name to replace it with. The idea was to try and be as silly as possible, but also trying to capture some of the natural ‘sounds’ of the original name.

The brands so far: Netflix is Nedfix, Fila is Fido, Ford is Fred, Target is Travis, Spence is Sprint, Mobil is Moby, Shell is Sheldon, Audi is Audree, Walmart is Wallace, Google is Gilmoore, Volkswagen is Vonwalken, Bing is Brian, Apple is Adam, Ford is Fred, Mercedes Benz is Meredith-Benson, Ferrari is Finnegan, America Express is Amelia Elexia, Evernote is Evan Norbert, Ebay is Ebenezer, Superdry is Stuartday, Pepsi is Perci and Delta is Delbert.

It’s just something to keep my smirking when I have a little time on my hands, and I have loads of fun names written down to yet apply, so this collection will grow in time.
