The Logo Smith designed a Ghost Logo Design for: GhostPay Inc(client website) Logo & Brand Identity to represent a new cryptocurrency wallet and payment platform created in 2019.
An obvious challenge was to not fall foul of any cheesy and/or stereotypical Ghost logo design visuals, whilst still attempting to convey the notion of an actual Ghost.
Ghost logo designs, icons and clip-art are literally everywhere, so it really was a fantastic challenge to try and design a Ghost logo mark that really stood on it’s own, and super importantly, really helped define the uniqueness and serious side of GhostPay Inc.
We were defiantly a bit fortunate with the shape of the G, which really helped me create this side-on profile shape of a stylised and minimal ghost.
It’s a simple and distinct logo mark, with the initial G forming the Ghost’s head, whilst the two circles represents the: eyes, money, and also these 2 circles help form the horizontal bar for the letter G.
I was also super pleased that I was able to design it so that the G could be used as an integral part of the GhostPay brand name, as well of course used on it’s own.
This means we can really strengthen the brand name in various formats, and the G logo mark is perfect for things like Social Media Profile images, and used on the business cards etc.
The end result is probably one of my most satisfying projects when faced with such a visual challenge with GhostPay.
Alternative GhostPay Business Cards
One of the alternative designs for the GhostPay business cards, is for something really rather beautiful (mock-up below).
For the front, we are going to use a much smaller GhostPay logo mark and print only with a Spot UV; no coloured ink, on some thick thick uncoated card.
This is still in the works as of June 2020, so hope to be update this post with some actual photographs at some point.
Some GhostPay Logomark Variations
These certainly are not the entire collection of my many attempts to create a suitable ghost logo for GhostPay, but just the final handful of variations based off the final logo mark design.
“We plan to house and protect your Cryptocurrency from outside entities until your purchase is made.

Moving money in and out of GhostPay is free, however to take advantage of GhostPay’s services we ask that you prepay or subscribe with us on a monthly/yearly basis.
The GhostPay phone application’s primary purpose is to connect via IOT through existing QR code and NFC technologies to transact your Crypto at select brick and mortar locations. The app is set to be developed for both iOS and Android smart-devices with external wallets being mixed and incorporates a VPN into the service offering.
USE AT THE POINT OF SALE
The GhostPay advantage is that your mobile payments are not only safer than traditional methods but they are quicker while keeping anonymous on the merchant end. We also see a more timely merchant settlement process meaning this is a Win-Win for both the merchant and the consumer.
GhostPay’s plan is to provide Crypto users a safe haven for their coin while also meshing with existing infrastructure in retail businesses for use at the point-of-sale. Our service offering objective is to make the transition to mobile Crypto-Payments easy and frictionless. We are creating a payment platform in which you have alternatives aside from standard credit and debit to fit lifestyle choices. Through the decentralization aspect of the blockchain we can capitalize on providing this service in almost any country. Meaning if we were to partner with a multinational enterprise you could use GhostPay in foreign countries (minus countries that banned Cryptocurrency) to purchase goods and services. The goal is to create a solution for the consumer: Spending cryptocurrency at the point of sale, lessening the need to deal in/convert foreign exchange at regulatory institutions, eliminate the need to notify banks of foreign travel and lessen taxes along the way.”
