BrainExcell Nootropic Supplement Logo & Packaging Design

BrainExcell Case Study & Logo Process for the Logo & Brand Identity Design; Bottle and Packaging Designed by The Logo Smith.

Photo Editing & 3d Bottle Renders

As well as designing the BrainExcell brand logo, and the bottle labels, I also created realistic looking 3d bottle renders, in Photoshop, to create various promotional images which you can see below:

 

 

At the time of designing the BrainExcell logo and labels, the bottles had yet to be produced, so there were no actual physical bottles from which to use for staged photoshoots.

The only real option was to create realistic looking versions in order to be able to start the BrainExcell marketing and promotional campaigns.

BrainExcell is a new premium Nootropic supplement, and as such the logo and brand design needed to convey a high quality product, and therefore tempt potential buyers to pay a premium price.

The BrainExcell Logo

The finished BrainExcell logo design is based on the BE initials, which also reads the same if rotated, or flipped vertically.

Once the logo design was approved, we then looked to the design of the bottle. This is a custom designed bottle (the schematics are below), and I suggested that printing directly onto the bottle, rather than onto a paper lable.

The client opted for a opaque black finished, which helped really helps emphasis (pop) the primary white, and gold design.

Although printing onto the bottle created some limitations in type size (minimum 7pt), it would ultimately help achieve this premium look for BrainExcell.
