The Winner
Congratulations to Becky Bryant @Caria for being randomly picked as the winner for the TDR giveaway. I really sincerely appreciate all those that took part, and followed me regardless of the outcome. If it’s any consolation for the people that didn’t win, there will be further chances to win in the next few weeks. One of the reasons I ask you to follow me on the various social media platforms is so I can reach more people with the giveaways, and importantly, you don’t miss out on the chance to enter.
A personal message
As usual, I hate it when these things end as I feel bad for all those that entered but didn’t win. If I could offer more copies then I would. The fact is, all these giveaways are self-funded, opposed to be sponsored, so the quantity of prizes is very limited to what I can afford. If any companies reading this want to offer up some similar prizes, then please get in contact. Till such time, I see some generosity from the companies, I will continue to offer the type of prizes that I wold like to win, so hopefully something of value and of interest

Thanks for what you’re doing Graham. It’s not always easy to fund these things yourself,(especially as a freelancer) and I think it’s great that you do it with such generosity and kindness. That makes the winning both for the winners and the others that much sweeter. Even though some of us didn’t win, I think the thoughtfulness that goes into this kind of giveaway is well received and appreciated by both sides.
Of course we would all like to be the winner, but everyone has to have their turn. It’s truly gratifying to see someone win something they really wanted. So, a hearty and genuine congratulations to Becky! I hope you enjoy the TDR! :)
I think it’s a good idea for your blog readers, fellow designers, and people that are out for the prizes to follow you on social media platforms. I can’t speak for the others, but I follow you because I enjoy your tweets and posts, and you are a fellow designer(like-minded). You tweet good links, post interesting things, helpful information, and often have me laughing. It’s also nice that you answer your @ replies and generously thank for support and RTs. Isn’t that what these programs are all about?
It’s also an awesome thing (for me anyway) that like-minded people (designers in our case) are able to connect, build friendships, share ideas, and sometimes working relationships through these different platforms, all over the world.
I enjoy reading your blog. Keep up the good work! :)

I couldn’t have put it better myself. Following people such as yourself on Twitter not only provides me with great links, inspiration and resources but it’s a fabulous way to keep in touch with the design world. As well as being an invaluable promotional resource.
Once again, thank you for brightening up my day, was a bit down because I missed FOWD @ Bristol, but this was a good afternoon pick me up. TDR will have pride of place upon my desk. (Lets hope my typography mad colleague doesn’t see it!)
