No, I think the platform you’re designing on can be considered irrelevant. You could have a 10 year old mac, or a brand new high-spec PC… that would break the normal truths behind Mac vs PC. Now to try and say that a Mac is better for designing logos than a PC might be generally true, but is a very uninspired comment to make especially if one is trying to be objective.

I think if anyone gets offended in any way by Graham's post, they've probably done something in that list themselves and didn't find anything wrong with it.

I work at Cancom (an Apple PR) and the sheer amount of 'creatives' that ask our salesmen for adapters to do this is unreal. 1920 x 1280 on a 50″….!
