Photography Magazine Logo & Masthead: New logo project for a limited print run bi-monthly photography magazine, called: fOKOS.
A subtly styled lowercase 'f' precedes the uppercase OKOS, just adding enough visual interest to keep it from being too 'normal'.
The right-side of the letter 'f' is cut and shaped to match the outer curve of the 'O'.
Typeface used, for all letters, is Avenir Next Heavy.

8Faces Typographic Magazine Giveaway

How are prizes sourced?
As with previous giveaways, all prizes are sourced and purchased by myself. This giveaway was arranged by myself, for my own reasons and not in anyway arranged or influenced by the guys at DevHD. This is just my way to spread the word.
This is why I can only usually manage one or two prizes per giveaway, depending on the overall value of the items concerned.
Some hilarious and slightly disturbing magazine and newspapers advertisements from the 1930's and onwards through to the 1960's. They really were 'Mad Men'.
Apologies for the quality of some of these images, they were sent to me in a email, so no idea of the origination of them. If any one knows where these images may have originated from then do let me know so I can put appropriate credits.
I particularly like the first one here, 'Blow her in her face...'. She looks positively entranced. I don't smoke, but must try this out.
