A nice giveaway to do this one. 8Faces is a majestic typographic magazine so a big WOOP to the following 3 winners. Even luckier as it quickly sold out after I launched the giveaway.

8Faces Giveaway Winners

  1. Ian Cylkowski - @Hexual
  2. Sabrina Sturm - @die-sturm
  3. David G - @ColourofAir

For the above winners, please email me your postal address. I have two copies right now and another on back order. So I will send out two copies to Ian and Sabrina then David, will send yours out in the New Year when they estimate the 2nd batch will be dispatched.

8Faces is by Elliot Jay Stocks

Update : The printed edition is now Sold Out, so this is likely your only chance to grab a copy.

8Faces Typographic Magazine Giveaway

I have just 3-4 copies of the current 2nd edition of 8Faces, by Elliot Jay Stocks to give out. As they have just been ordered, they will be dispatched as soon as they are delivered.

It's easy to enter, just leave a comment with Twitter ID or another way to contact you should you be picked out.

Please only enter if you are deadly interested in 8Faces and typography , if not, please give other people who are a better chance to win.

I will pick the 3-4 winners middle of next week, thereabouts. The only entry requirement is that I ask you to Retweet/Share this post at some point.

How are prizes sourced?

As with previous giveaways, all prizes are sourced and purchased by myself. This giveaway was arranged by myself, for my own reasons and not in anyway arranged or influenced by the guys at DevHD. This is just my way to spread the word.

This is why I can only usually manage one or two prizes per giveaway, depending on the overall value of the items concerned.

Some hilarious and slightly disturbing magazine and newspapers advertisements from the 1930's and onwards through to the 1960's. They really were 'Mad Men'.

Apologies for the quality of some of these images, they were sent to me in a email, so no idea of the origination of them. If any one knows where these images may have originated from then do let me know so I can put appropriate credits.

I particularly like the first one here, 'Blow her in her face...'. She looks positively entranced. I don't smoke, but must try this out.
