Stargate Atlantis
Based on my previous poster design ‘The Silence of the Lambs’, here is another. This time round, basing it on one of my favourite sci-fi shows, Stargate. I have focused on the lead character played by Joe Flanigan, alias ‘Lt. Colonel John Sheppard’. Choosing one of my favourite quotes, ‘I hate those things.’
Again, using all Helvetica for the typography. Who can really say Helvetica doesn’t look good, white on black?

I’m loving how the type becomes the foreground to that blurred image. Not sure I’ve seen that too often… quite clever and creates an awesome tension.
