Less is Not More – Type Poster for Download

Less is Not More Helvetica Poster

Projecting Helvetica Typographic Poster

A clean helvetica typographic based poster design, free for you to download. I have never understood the phrase “less is more.” How can ‘more’ really be ‘less’. Frankly, it’s a stupid saying. So, this poster put’s things right, at least in my crazy crazy world. And if you want to really debate it, meet me down the pub for a beer.

Download on Flickr

You can download the A3 JPEG version of this poster direct via Flickr, so you can throw darts at it or wipe you’re bottom with it.

Fonts

The poster was set entirely in Helvetica Neue of various weights

Less clutter is more aesthetically pleasing, or ‘Less is More’

    Great poster by the way.

  2. less isn’t more, I agree.
it isn’t less, either. it’s just a lower dosage of the same potent medicine.

  3. Sealobo says:

Less *could be* more, because it leaves space for imagination.

  4. Jeff Stadden says:

Less distraction, garbage, irrelevancies, clutter, false starts, unrelated elements, confusion, dilution, narcissistic introspection, vagaries.

When there is less, the real idea can be revealed in its most powerful form. It won’t necessarily be, but it can be.
