Looking for a cheap and discreet way to protect the underside of your precious iPad?
Bought these cool silicon feet a few years back from Radtech, called Pawz – High Grip Feet. Found them in one of my drawers recently and decided to try them on my ‘gifted’ iPad.
I’m not one to usually stick things to Apple products, but in a few cases I will make an exception. I also used them on my 17″ laptop, and they actually help with the dissipation of heat due to the thicker than usual feet.
The Pawz work brilliantly, and they mean you can just plonk your iPad down on any surface without fear of scratching the underside. The Pawz are easily removed if you changed your mind, only double sided adhesive tape. Have had the iPad for nearly 3 weeks now and not one mark on the iPad case, even thought it’s been plonked down on some pretty rough surfaces.
The image above shows the distance from table to iPad, just a few cm’s, but enough to stop it sliding around on a smooth surface. They are also quite tactile and so will stop the iPad from sliding off your super smooth polyester pants or leggings or whatever.
I also have a fabric sleeve for the iPad and the Pawz don’t interfere with the ‘slipping into the case’ manoeuvre. That’s my case, other cases I can’t speak for.
The Pawz are definitely worth a look if you are looking for some cheap, effective and discreet iPad case protection.
