New Del.icio.us Badge Design ‘Powered by Del.icio.us’ Chicklet

Following my fascination with these small chicklets and badges, I thought that doing one for Del.icio.us would be pretty fab. Since the chaps at Profilactic started using the one I did for them Powered by Profilactic badge that was previously knocked up, I have neen enthused to do further Web applications.

So feel free to use and abuse this logo, small request at bottom of this post.

I have been getting more involved with Del.icio.us as the weeks drag on. Never really gave it much attention other than this hidden program that bookmarked for you. Not sure why I did not take advantage of all it’s other aspects, but recently I have realised that there is a lot more cool stuff to do with Del.icio.us than what I was using it for.
Yes, I was taking Del.icio.us for granted and realised I would miss it terribly if it left me.
Going to the Delicious home page is quite interesting as there are many of the most bookmarked sites which proves to be a cool place to check what is currently hot. Almost like a Stumble or DIGG, but more subtle and less intrusive. It’s just there for you. I like it.

As you can see in my sidebars also, I have taken to displaying my Del.icio.us tags instead of my WordPress tags. Just think it’s far cooler. Looking forward to the new version of Del.icio.us.

Regarding the size of the badges above, as my general warning for these, please just don’t try and enlarge them, they will look damn awful at any magnification due to the small Chicklet size of 140px by 15px.

Ofcourse you are free to use these however you wish. It would be appreciated though if you could find somehow to link to this page or at least my site. Nothing obtrusive, just maybe a link in your Blogroll or something. That would be nice.
