Some some positive news regarding my own website. Try as I might I have been unable to create a site that I feel truly reflects what I am and more importantly the image I would like to portray to potential readers and clients. To this end I will be hiring a Web Developer to re-do my site. So very excited about this.

I am pleased with my progress at learning CSS and all the extras, but I really have got to a point where a professional really needs to take over and create a site to be proud of. So I can quit worrying about it, stop wasting time tinkering with it and get on with posting great Blog articles and focusing on bringing work in.

New People I have met on Twitter

I have been motivated know end by the constant enthusiasm that I have seen all over the place from new friends like Styletime, Adelle Charles at Fuel Your Creativity, Martin J Newham, Jay at Anautix, Dan London of Twunch.com. Talented Designers and Web Developers such as MyInkBlog, Liam at WeFunction, Max at DesignShard, Emily Lewis at A Blog not Limited, Aaron at Aaronrussell.co.uk, Tom Sinclair at SliceMe, Franz Jetz at Fudge Graphics and many more fine people that I have been introduced to through Twitter and other means.

Twitter Round-Up

I will be posting a round up of all the new people that engage me or I them recently on Twitter, people that to me are friendly and have time to just say Hi.

Yeah yeah…

I have been Blogging for some years and have several successful Blogs behind me, but ImJustCreative has has a slow start for personal reasons and I have not been able to dedicate the time to the Website as much as I would have liked. Not to say I have not been busy, I am been extraordinarily busy with work, researching and studying.

I have found updating Twitter with ‘as they happen’ posts really quite enjoyable, but they are not always beneficial to others, or can be missed by a good number of people unless you keep re-posting the same message. I do like my mini-posts and my LifeStreams, so the new site will have this integrated, but I remain a passionate micro-blogging sort of chap so enjoy meeting new people that way.

I just need to be able to enjoy writing more substantial posts again like previous within a new site to be proud of. I am a true perfectionist, but this site is anything but, especially under the hood. I crave for a site that is as Accessible and Useable as possible, that adheres to the current guidlines for CSS and XHTML.

I have tried to do it myself yes, and that I can be proud of. But now it’s time to let the professionals do what they do. After trying it for myself, I have a much deeper appreciation for the skills that true Web Developers and Designers have, hats off to you. I am not giving up with my own Web Design/Development goals, as I am proud of what I have achieved over the years, but time is what it takes to be ‘great’ and I am learning right now from the best.

RSS/Email Updates

So ImJustCreative will be more active in Blogging soon, so hope to be able to offer things of interest. Seeing RSS Subscription figures raise helps my motivation as anyone, so if anyone feels like Subscribing in advance then I would surely appreciate it.

Catch my Twitter Updates

You can find me more than often on Twitter and all the other associated Micro-Blogging Social Sites. So just buzz me and say Hi. :)
