Mood Rating System
Nice to know that I can assign a specific mood rating to my current mood.
This week I have mostly been:
5 – Not depressed but not joyful either, in a state of existence,
“emotionally numb,” no suicidal and/or homicidal ideations, no
monitoring necessary, some ability to function, borderline mood
(potential for instant change to a 4 or 6)
with intermittant:
6 – Mildly joyful, content, no suicidal and/or homicidal ideations, low functioning problems
Although ‘mildly joyful’ is out of place, absolutely no joy whatsoever, in any form!
Its been tough, especially as a year ago today I was in the pit of
despair, had the NHS Crisis team keeping an eye on me at a point in my
life where I was pretty damn low. So I am struggling with these
associations of a crap Christmas and New Year where I just stayed in my
cave. There is indication that some depressive swings can be linked to
seasonal changes, or yearly anniversary depressive events, a trigger as
such.
Finding it so hard to drum up any motivation for anything or
something at all. Will be glad when Christmas and New Years is over.

Hey Graham,
Sounds like you feel better than you did this time last year so it’s hopeful next year will be a big improvement.
Hope you have a good one, mate.
