Deron : this would be a great idea. Some people may not want to bother with a huge description but may want to add just a few words about the meaning of the logo for example.

Crucial perhaps for putting a certain design or style of logo into context. This potentially allows for a much better appreciate of someone else’s work.

I had this problem with the zulu safari logo. It was a odd shape really, but the meaning and purpose for that logo were important. But because on most sites I was unable to just add a few words about what you were looking at, I felt the logo may have been lost ‘in context’ to some.

Sometimes you need to see a logo in it’s environment, and not just on a small background.

So yeah, this would be a great addition to you’re site.
