Prices
Logo & icon design prices start from £1000*, and includes basic business card, letterhead, compliment slip and envelope design (not included: printing costs, font licensing, copyright/trademark searches etc) as standard.
Also included with each project: Logo Usage Guidelines usually provided as a single page A4 help sheet, full support/consultation both during the project as well as after, extensive research and idea generation to ensure a tailored and unique identity.
- Sometimes available to take on sub £1000 projects if the conditions tie in nicely with my existing schedule, the project is reasonably straightforward, and has reasonable expectations. It may also cover work needed to smarten up/refresh an existing logo.
- If you are just looking for a standalone logo mark, and are: a small business, self employed, freelancer, consultant, small web based business, or looking for a application icon design then you are looking at £1000 – £1750.
- Suitable if you are looking for something more substantial than just a standalone logo design. Maybe you have other visual brand identity requirements that a single logo design will not achieve for you. This will provide you with an identity solution including: substantial advice and consultation during and after the initial project ends.
- If you are a small to large business/shop/skilled professional with/without physical locations/premises, a consultant, and generally any person or business that requires a solid visual identity to ensure that you can rely on your brand to attract the right clientele, then you are generally looking over £3000+. This will ensure that I have the time and means to fully research and understand everything about what you do and what you need to say. Time is crucial when developing a strong visual identity, it needs to reflect the personality of your company as well as send out specific messages to potential customers. Larger projects usually takes at least a month, usually closer to two months to complete.
As a guide recent clients have put up anything from £1500 up to £5000 for well researched logo, brand identities & icon design, including: Abacus Insurance, PedalWorks, PureStorage, Black Vanilla, Feedly, Foehn & Hirsch, Monochrome, ADXPRS and others.
Given the importance of having a social media presence I will endeavor to create a logo or icon mark that will adapt to being used as a website favicon, and as a profile image for social media sites like Twitter, Google+ and Facebook.
