The more you can allocate in your budget the better and more appropriate the end result. If the success of your business is important to you, then it makes sense that you invest adequately in the logo and identity design.

£500 – £600 Range

As a general rule, if the logo is for a small company, personal website or company web based business without any physical locations, then the lower end of the scale should suffice. If you have a start up company that maybe an experiment or it’s just a casual side hobby, then anything from £500 up to around £600 will be a suitable investment.

£600 – £10000+ Range

If you are a small to large business with physical locations, are a consultant, a business that requires a solid brand identity to attract the right clientele then you are generally looking over £600 +.

Recent clients have put up anything from £800 up to £3000 for a business identity. If you are unsure about how much to invest in your logo design, please do contact me and we can both look through your requirements and I can help advise you on this.

The simple reason it costs more is that I need to research your business, your clientele, your products in order to create a logo and identity that is appropriate to the success of your business. We will explore various ideas, look at certain type of fonts, logo styles, we will look at sketches of basic ideas I have formulated, we will both assess if any one kind of idea would be the winner.

  • Basic letterhead, compliment slip and business card design also included (if required and asked for). Printing NOT included.
  • Extensive research and idea generation to ensure a tailored and unique identity.
  • Full project collaboration, idea and version tracking through GetBackBoard.com
  • Full support both during the project as well as after. I don’t cut you off once the project is over.
  • * Some logo projects will also come with a set of logo and identity guidelines.
  • ** Favicon and social media profile image creation.

* Logo Usage Guidelines usually provided as a single page A4 help sheet. If you feel this would be useful, then please ask.

** I will endeavour to create a logomark that will adapt to being used as a website favicon and as a profile image for social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. This ensures a continuity of brand awareness.
