It’s not really dependant on them seeing the negative space. It works just as a name, bear in mind it’s only a small town ‘job man’.

The ‘u’ could be taken as a flowerpot as well, and again, this is no problem. It’s part of his job, flower pots, gardening and ofcourse digging.

So hopefully, it covers all bases.

I like it, but think it might look better with a less rounded font so that the spade pole can enter the U in a ‘straight’ way rather than pooling and curving into it.

Will their average joe customer see the negative space intention, or will they see a plant pot?
