As creatives we are inundated with places to display and store our work, usually to overwhelming proportions. So many places to source inspiration and places to show off our work. It can be tempting to use all of them, and thus the mammoth task of keeping them all updated begins. Or we slowly abandon one in favour of another, or give up completely until the next new thing comes along. Welcome DripBook.

DripBook

Dripbook offers powerful online promotional tools to professional photographers, illustrators, designers, fashion stylists, and more.

DripBook caught my eye some time back and I secured an invite to sign up and set my own profile up, but didn’t really get round to checking it out until recently. I’m now seeing how groovy DripBook is and see heaps of potential in it. This is not really a review, more a passing comment about it. Hopefully enough for you to want to check it out yourself. In terms of inspiration, networking and showcasing work, it really looks pretty damn neat and has some terrific functionality built in.

Some Key Functionality

What set’s it apart from other portfolio and inspiration sites are these key Top Ten features: http://www.dripbook.com/top/ten/

From being able to export live flash websites from your portfolio books, to sending them to various social media channels, having your portfolio totally Googleable with Meta tags and Search Engine indexing all built into your portfolio and externally linked flash site.

For me, it has been the ease of use and intuitive interface that has allowed me to pretty much just get on with creating my profile and portfolio without any need to calling ‘help’. It’s fast and clean. Like any great service, there are ‘service plans’ to suit your budget.

DripBook

I have only touched the surface of what it can do and look forward to getting my teeth stuck in further and networking with other DripBooker’s in time.

DripBook on the iPhone

And if the above does not tempt you, then how about being able to use DripBook on your iPhone? They have created a iPhone optimised web interface which you can access using : http://iphone.dripbook.com/YourUserName
