It took a flash of inspiration, all be it rather long in coming…
What to do with my photo collection. Surely I can do more with them then them just sitting in virtual stillness. So, in a very vain effort to create something more ‘organic’ than a still photo, I will be creating some special edition branded desktop pictures. For the moment, I will create just several sizes of each, just to see how it darn goes.
Quality desktop pictures are like grains of sand, just millions and million of them, admittedly, some of the millions are just awful, dire, grim and depressing. But mine, hopefully, will be a little more ‘thoughtful’ and certainly on the subtle side of the fence.
I will create a new page where these can be downloaded. So watch out for the first one coming this week. It’s going to be one of my personal favorites, one that I have already used myself as a desktop picture. The only clue is that it is a nighttime San Fransisco scene.

Given your location and photographic skills, a gallery of customized desktop wallpapers would be completely inspiring. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for some fresh desktop scenery (it is definitely needed)! What screen resolutions are you planning on supporting? Hopefully you will throw in a few extra large (e.g., 1680×1050) versions for us spoiled kids!
