I want your creative business logo for forthcoming post

Sometimes you try to tweet a message or request to be just efficient, and/or lazy, but ultimately it creates more work as it leaves so many questions unanswered. So taking a leaf out of Darren Jones (Daz) approach and blog the request instead. I want that creative professionally crafted logo that you designed to brand your own business.

Self Promote yourself

See it as a means of self promotion in a somewhat obvious unsubtle manor. I’m doing it because I am really into logos, funnily enough, but really curious to know why you came up with the design you did. What motivated you, what inspired you, what reasons for choosing ‘that’ style over all the others you probably discarded.

So as you can see on my previous post on Part 1 of my self branding series, I have created a version of the logo for the post, with a nice background for added impact within the post. But this is not how I usually use the logo, so what I need from you is the logo in format that you feel really best does the logo justice. If it looks better on a white background then send me it on a white background and vice versa. If the logo looks good on a graduated background then send that. I’m easy, however you feel best does the logo justice.

Also just a few words on the logo, based what I wrote in the 2nd paragraph above. Any information that allows us to see the logo in a bigger picture.

Specifications for the logo file

The image size needs to be a minimum of 380px wide, and 180px deep so that I can keep some consistency with the layout. But if you have specific display request then just shout. Ultimately it will be JPG’ed, so Photoshop files would be preferable, but Illustrator is fine. Again, any questions just shoot me a line.

Deadline

Man, I hate deadlines. So there isn’t one really. Sort of an ongoing series, so as and when.

great way of going about laying out your request for an upcoming post. Next time I do another “group post” like this I will have to keep this in mind.

It would have saved me a headache had I just done a full length request like this. But oh well, live and learn right?

Also, what is the time frame on this? I currently don’t have a logo for myself, but would love to try and put one together for this post.
