TwitterBacks or Tweetures

So not one to feel left out, I have come up with some neat Twitter Backgrounds (Tweetures) for your enjoyment. Twitter backgrounds have become a huge part of Twitter, with many Twitter background websites springing up almost daily. One of my favourites for displaying these backgrounds is the Twitter BackGrounds Gallery where a fellow creative friend of mine, Calvin Lee (@mayhemstudios) has also written an excellent post on how to create them yourself.

LoveHelvetica ‘Its a Neue Thing’ Series

The majority of the LoveHelvetica backs, as with the typography background, will focus on the space down the left hand side by adding theLoveHelvetica logo to maximise the viewable space for most common resolutions.

The tagline, “It’s a Neue Thing” is set in Helvetica Neue Ultra Light.

This version uses a textured paper background which has been reversed and tweeked and colourised to a dark charcoal colour.

The LoveHelvetica logo in this case has been placed over the top so that some of the texture shows through. I will be making variations of this design in other colours, if you have a certain colour you would like then just drop me a line.

Specs

These are web optimised JPEG’s, and are created at 1600px x 1275px.

When selecting in Twitter, you don’t need to tile them, I would recommend you just set the background to #212122, as the right and bottom of the background image is set to #212122. So there will be no harsh lines showing due to various colour values down these edges.
