DesignScene iPad App – 10 Licence Giveaway

Been keenly waiting for this day. Roger Wong from Lunar/Theory (@lunarboy) approached me some time back asking if I would make my RSS feeds available for a new type of design iPad app. I was curious as well as being flattered to be along side another 100 or so design based website feeds.

What I love about this is it’s simplicty and it’s real time feed update. When I posted something over on Single Measures earlier today, it turned up in the text link feed on DesignScene within minutes.

This could prove to be a very addictive iPad app.

An inspiration explorer for iPad

Now launch day is upon us, and to celebrate, Roger has very kindly offered up 10 licences of DesignScene for me to giveaway here on IJC.

ShawnBlanc has already written a few positive words about it today. The video above does give you a very good idea about how it works on the iPad.

1 winner every day for 10 days

With this giveaway, I have something slightly different in mind. Given that this will be a popular iPad app, waiting a week for the winners could prove a little frustrating if you were considering on buying it anyway.

Thus, everyday, for the next 10 days, one name will be randomly drawn from the comments and announced on Twitter and Single Measures over on the other channel.

I will start with picking the first winner tomorrow evening, 20th January, then everyday for another 9 days.

If you really can’t wait, then you can always go and check it out in the App store.

Owning an iPad is helpful unless you want to ‘gift’ this to someone else. If this is the case, then please specify this in the comments below. We can arrange with the winner where to send the licence after the contest.

Depending on how many comments are left, I may be persuaded to up the amount of licences myself to help keep the odds of winning reasonable.

Well hello there! I just heard about your website when I clicked and scrolled through the ‘#design’ mentions on Twitter. Love the site. Wish I had an iPad to use this app. I have an iPhone but would love to expand and get and iPad…I am a poor Interior Design Intern…I want to win this item!
