New Site Category
I have been contemplating the use of other peoples art and design on IJC for some time. My intials thoughts are that I wanted to keep IJC just for me, my own work, my own ideas and a reflection of the personality behind it.
But recently, after setting up the numerous Junkies blogs on Posterous, I have realised that there is so much great stuff out there that ‘does’ reflect my own views on art and design that to have them included within my own site would be beneficial and interesting.
So a new category has been set up called External Inspiration, so it’s clear it’s not my own work, but work by other designers that I truely admire.
First Post – Some Folks
So the first example of this is what you see above. Found this on DesignYouTrust and this really shouted out to me. I love the simplicity of it, the 2 tone colours, the neat portion of typography in the corner and the clever use of words to create a double meaning.
Im a fan of charcoals, greys and blues as you can see from my own site design, but this is something I would love to have hanging on my walls.

I love it too. and I will say it again, i do like the way you have made provisions on how you always try to showcase a lot of talents, concepts, ideas from other designers/artist like you. the term imjustcreative truly embibes who you are and what you stand for. I am a fan = )
