First of all. This is my first video post and subsequently go easy on me. Also, I seemed to have messed up the encoding a little bit and the dimensions have squished me vertically, so I look more rounded that I actually do. :)

Writing for ImJustCreative and WeAreJustCreative

Just a quick summary of what I am waffling on about so you don’t have to be subjected to the sheer horror of having to watch or listen to me. I’m simply explaining the process to enter this competition that I have been talking about on Twitter over the last few weeks or so.

Prizes

1. The main prize being a pair of Etymotic ER4P Monitor Earphones.
2. 2nd Prize is a pair of AKG K181 Pro Headphones
3. 3rd Prize is a pair of Sony MDR-500 Headphones
4. All submitted articles WILL be posted on either IJC or WAJC, so your work will not be for nothing.

What you need to do

Write a post on ‘creativity’, in what ever way you wish, covering any aspect of ‘creativity’ you want. If you want to be controversial then do so, be keep things ‘sensible’, but anything that is likely to provoke comments and thoughts is good. Include images if you want to and the post length should be a minimum of 1000 words.

I can’t demand this of course, but if you are not subscribed to either ImJustCreative or WeAreJustCreative, I would love you to think about doing so. The reason is that it’s huge motivation, feels good to post when you know people are more likely to read what you talk about. And it’s good karma on your part. ;)

When for?

No immediate rush. As Christmas and New Year will be upon us soon, I figured we should allow at least a month or so, so no great rush. Entries by the 4th Jan I think would be a good starting point.

Who will decide?

Kris Colvin (@kriscolvin) and Adelle Charles (@adellecharles) will pick the 3 winners. Their decision is final, although for underhand payments, some bribes may be considered. (jk)
