City of Alexandria, Egypt - 3 Tearaways

A series of images of 3 wonderful and ‘forward’ children. Some other photos of her and her friends can be seen here. At least the girl was.

She spotted me as I was walking along the seafront and made it her task for the evening to get me to take photo’s of her and her brothers. She loved the camera which is obvious.

it was so much fun, although I was little apprehensive at first, just because she was so confident. The mother wouldn’t come any where near me, she didn’t appear angry just kept her distance. She lightened up once I gave my camera to the girl so that she could run 50 yards up to show her mother the pictures on the digital screen, All made sense to her then I imagine.

Trusting my camera to 3 youngsters was not the most ’sensible’ thing, not so much I was worried they would run off with it, far from it, just that they didnt seem to understand how valuable it was in terms of replacement value and that i had hundreds of photos still on it. But my trust paid of with some wonderful images.
