Taken during the storms earlier in March down at my beach in Seaford, East Sussex. It was certainly a grim day, but it all makes it worthwhile when you have clouds, rough sea and a glimpse of the sun shining through the clouds and reflecting of the water. IT takes just the right ingredients to turn an average shot into something more dramatic. Nothing much else to say about this one really other than some Photoshop work that I ended up doing.

Nothing special behind the shot other than I was visiting a very remote part of Egypt called Siwa Oasis, close to the Black and White desert. At this time I was on top of a high ridge taking in some ruins. As I peeked over the edge of one of the ruins walls, I saw this lone donkey and cart making it’s away across the Oasis.

Quality desktop pictures are like grains of sand, just millions and million of them, admittedly, some are just awful, dire, grim and depressing. But mine, hopefully, will be a little more ‘thoughtful’ and certainly on the subtle side of the fence.
