Hi Graham, absolutely love reading your posts, I'm not a logo designer, actually quite the opposite, I design lingerie. At first what seems to be such a simple 'bog-standard' logo that kept catching my eye as I was reading all your bloggings, (more in an annoyance and baffled kind of way that it was a logo design that was probably paid big bucks for) I couldn't see the sense in it, much like how you must be wondering how and why on earth I have a degree in making underwear... until I read this post and now absolutely amazed at the work you put in to create such a 'simple' or shall i now rephrase 'seamless' logo. I love the way you explain your design processes, I do hope that it educates many clients to rethink about the way they see a designer's job...well done, amazing article, and definitely worth favouriting! x

Logo bears the brand value of an organization
and therefore making frequent changes in its shape or form might have an
adverse impact on your organization brand value.

OMG this is such a good post. I only know that, because I usually google a post, scroll through looking for what I need to know...then BAM I'm done--off...gone. But after finding what I THOUGHT I needed in this post, I went back up and read the first word...which turned into the first sentence, the first paragraph. And I made it...to the last paragraph, the last sentence...the last word. And I realized I need to do that more often on here. ThAnKs!! I'm bookmarking this one for sure. :)

I love this identity, and it's really well-written. It's very interesting to discover the process of this rebranding, thanks for sharing the experience !

I like the fact that the ampersand is clearly readable at smaller scale, but when it gets larger, the cut in seems just a bit strange. I really love the changes though, and the ampersand seems stronger overall.

Thanks for sharing your logo development, it was a delight to read! I love the attention to detail, and it's these very details that contribute to the success of a design.
