Sooooo…
Indeed. Right. Moving on. This post is all about the 125x125px banners, logos, icons, adverts, link love blocks or whatever you want to call them.
Been coming across of link loving recently, or the shameless self promoting act of giving out banner blocks for external linkage. Wonderful.
Seen some cool designs, ShareBrain has a nice collection for worldwide distribution which I was quite partial to myself. So may grab one for WAJC.
But I digress.
The idea
An idea for a novel post came about during this observing of some 125×125′s. How about having a post where people can submit one style of their own 125x125px block love banner’s in one central place. Namely, here. Then people can browse the post and take whatever 125x125px block that takes their fancy for some link love. *You can deal with the whole No-Follow or Follow small print.
So it’s not a voting or who has the best 125x125px block thing, it’s just a place for you to see if there are any styles that may compliment your own site whilst giving out some link love etc.
So who is allowed to play
I guess be nice to keep on topic here, so as with the Uber Lists (if you haven’t yet seen the Uber Lists then you are missing out on some major self marketing here) lets keep it around creative, geeky type websites. Also any kind of social networking, social media, SEO is also allowed to play.
And?
So yeah, here we are. So even if you don’t have your own 125x125px block, why not create one then submit it for The 125px by 125px Block Banner Link Challenge – Part 2? Presumably it will include some elements of your own branding, logo designs, icons or not. However you want to play it.
Leave a comment below just saying if you are going to play with me, then submit any entries, with URL, via email.
Don’t forget I now have CommentLuv installed so take advantage of some link love here as well.
When ya wan’it?
No real urgency for this, but lets say a couple of weeks from the date of this post I would like to be able to finalise the deal.
