Apple Safari 3.1 Released and 8 Useful Firefox Plugin’s that means I won’t switch yet
No ideas on how it performs yet as I only just seen the news myself, but for the new info check out the article at Mashable. Now that’s called aTrackback
I am still a Firefox user, simply because it seems better supported with plug-ins, some of which are totally invaluable to me. One such example is the Web Developer plug-in by Chris Pederick, which I posted about a few weeks ago.
Other worthwhile FireFox plugin’s I use include:
- FireFTP
- StumbleUpon
- Delicious
- Dom Inspector
- ShareThis
- Smart Digg Button
- ColorZilla
- Fox Bookmarks to name but a few.
So until these plug-ins are adapted to Safari I don’t see myself switching any time soon. More so that FireFox 3 Beta is out and about, which is what I am waiting for. Which I can confirm has fixed the notorious browser window bug that would mean your windows just positioning themselves exactly where you don’t want them or put them. NO matter how much you try to move them, they would usually just pop back and stick in one position.
But I will give Safari 3.1 a go and see how it performs.
